Bjørn Lomborg

One of TIME Magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world, one of Esquire magazine’s most influential people of the 21st century, and one of 50 people who could save the planet according to the Guardian, Dr. Bjorn Lomborg researches the smartest ways to improve the environment.

Repeatedly named one of Foreign Policy’s Top 100 Global Thinker, Bjorn is an adjunct professor at Copenhagen Business School and works with many of the world’s top economists through his think tank, the Copenhagen Consensus Centre.

As a journalist, and an experienced public debator, Bjorn has written for all the major broadsheets in the world, including the New York Times, the Wall St. Journal, and the Economist. He has also appeared on every major TV network and talk show, and was featured in the movie ‘Cool it’, by Sundance Award Winning Director Ondi Timoner.

His books, The Skeptical Environmentalist and Cool It, challenge well-documented concerns and guide readers to think beyond the constraints that society places on us, to focus on working out the smartest solutions.

In 2011 and 2012, Lomborg was named Top 100 Global Thinker by Foreign Policy “for looking more right than ever on the politics of climate change”.
